Superintendent Jeff Simons
announced the January 26, 2010 bond resolution to repair five elementary
schools. The repairs will address
roofs, boilers, heating and ventilation systems and handicapped accessiblity. The project, to cost $30 million, is
eligible for 97.6% state aid. A home assessed at $100,000 would incur a tax increase of about
$4.00 per year to pay for the district’s share of these repairs.
Board Meetings will be Third Monday of the Month at Savoy Restaurant at
5:15 p.m.

Ray Durso, Executive Director
of The Genesis Group of the Mohawk Valley Region spoke about the origins of The
Genesis Group and its mission of promoting regional economic, social and
cultural interests so as to foster unity and cooperation in the region. Thank you Ray!
