Bob Trowell
Mike Occhipinti introduced Bob Trowell who is 92 yrs old and has been a
Rome Rotarian for 61 yrs. His classification was Architect. Bob has always had
a passion for diving, so much that he has written a book. Bob presented an
excellent slide show of pictures that are in the book. It has taken him two
years to write and put together. He has been diving for 40 years. This is book
is a recollection of those 40 yrs and 18 remote Caribbean Islands that Bob and
is wife have been to. He had stated a lot of pictures were taken with a glass
flash bulb, gradually the equipment for photography and diving has
improved. He has been in water deeper than 100 ft and stated
that it’s your strength and the lungs which helps. It was a pleasure to hear this Rotarian recount stories of
his passion. If you’d like to purchase
a book they are $45.00, please contact Bob Trowell.
