Rome Hospital

New Women’s Imaging and MRI Center

Sharon Carson, Director &

Jacqueline Floyd, Assistant Director

Excited would be an understatement when speaking of the enthusiasm Sharon and Jackie shared with us today for the newest addition to Rome Hospital, the New Women’s Imaging and MRI Center. We had the chance to make a “virtual tour” of the new facility via power point.

The emphasis for the physical environment has been placed on privacy, comfort, and eye pleasing décor with great attention to the use of ample natural light.

The equipment for the center is “state of the art” producing the kind of high quality imaging that has not been available in the past.

Sharon commented on the overwhelming support of the Rome community for this project, specifically noting among others the support of the hospital employees.

The Center, which is being completed this summer will open to the public for tours within the next month or so and will open to serve the community later this fall.

We extend a warm Rotary thank you to both Sharon and Jackie for a very nice presentation.
